Strawberry Spare Ribs

A mouth-watering spare ribs recipe that appeals to all ages! Choose thick, meaty spare ribs, cook them until they are tender, then finish them off with this deliciously sticky sauce. You can balance out the meal with loads of green veg on the side.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:
6 racks spare ribs
2 tsp corn starch
2 strawberries
2tbsp Olive Oil

Seasoning: 
6 strawberries (big)
2 tbsp Strawberry Spread (sugar free)
1/2 tsp Fructose Granulated Sweetener
4 tbsp cold boiled water 

Marinade:
1/2 tsp Fructose Granulated Sweetener
2 tbsp low sodium light soy sauce
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tsp ginger juice
Pinch of pepper

Instructions:
1. Marinade spare ribs for 30 minutes. Set aside marinade sauce. Dust spare ribs with corn starch.
2. Wash strawberries and remove stem. Halve each. Set aside 2 for garnishing. Mix the rest of strawberries with
seasoning and blend to paste.
  
3. Heat up 2 tbsp olive oil. Pan fry spare ribs till done. Wipe off excess oil with kitchen paper towel. Add in blended seasoning. Bring it to boil over medium heat. Decorate with the other strawberries. Transfer to plate. Serve.
